Man of steel 2 casting

Ok guys as we all know the will be a second man of steel movie and they have released the casting option 

LET THE HATE COMMENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ben Affleck 

Now unlike alot of people I am not super angry with this one. I think that Ben Affleck has a chance to be a good Batman (not like Christian Bail good but still). I think he has an ok acting career and he has the Bruce Wayne chin. My only worry is the fact that a long time ago when marvel movies sucked, dear Ben Affleck played the mask wearing, crime fighting, blind brooding vigilante Daredevil. AND THAT MOVIE SSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDD. So I am hopefully optimistic about Affleck. (cool bat suit too)         

Gal Gadot 

Now when  I was told that Gal Gadot will be playing Wonder Woman I went "who". Then I learned that she was the eye candy from the fast and furious series. I think that she can might be able to pull it off. But she is going to bulk up; like a lot. My main problem with this is Wonder Woman in general. I love the character and I think she is starting to become really developed in the comics, but when DC said they were going to put here in the new movie it just screamed desperate. Want made marvel and the avengers so good was the fact that it took it's time to build up it's roster and gave the characters there chance to be in the spotlight. But with this it just looks like DC is panicking and trying to compete with the fact that Marvel is doing a talking raccoon and walking tree. Also will be talking about how it is possible to several DC characters there own movie later. 

Jessie Eisenberg

Why DC? Just why? YOU HAD BRYAN CRANSTON BRYAN CRANSTON and you pick Zuckerberg. Now I am not sawing that our friend Jessie is a bad actor I just don't see why he was picked. This isn't really his style I always thought he liked to do smart movies. Lex Luthor is supposed to be the big bad, the greater evil, he is the one that sits in the spiny chair while superman chokes on kryptonite. This was the chose that really made me loose faith in this movie. I feel that the director is trying to hard to be something special and is trying to blow everyone away. But when DC announced that Heath Ledger was the joker people thought he was going to be terrible; then he made a pencil disappear and we shut up. So lets hope beyond hope that this movie will be awesome. Lets hope that the casting director didn't mishear his assistant say Eisenberg when he said Heisenberg.

A Song of Ice and Fire

Ok guys I have just started reading the book series a Song of Ice and Fire (known as Game of Thrones for you non readers). I have only just started the second book but I have been hooked. It's like lord of the rings with no need for sauron. It is the story of warriors and lords and it is epic. The best thing about it is the true mortality of the series. Nobody fate is sealed and anyone can die at any time. I suggest that you read the books. I am really sorry that I haven't been posting any good stuff. Just in a funk.

Ultimate Fandom quest

So the Doctor travels to Hogwarts to find Sherlock but then Hogwarst comes under attack from Galactic Empire forcing the Doctor to flee with the Winchester brothers to Starfleet only to learn that he must quest through Murkwood to reclaim the Iron Throne which is under the control of Moriarty and his ally Voldemort as they seek to conquer Arendelle. However the Doctor then learns that he is divergent and is thrown into the hunger games were he must protect the life of an unconscious avatar Aang. Star Wars Rebels

Alright guys as you the new star wars show is coming out and we got to see a trailer for it. Let's have at it.

I like the look of it seems alot like the old clone wars show (sobs) and I think it has potential. The show is focusing around a rag tag group of smugglers that are being a pain in the butts to the empire. So far there is no rebellion or Darth Vader. The only thing I am really worried about is that this show won't have a real over all plot and it will be a mess of clashing egos. And I have a right to be cautious. When Disney bought Marvel entertainment they cancelled Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I thought that EMH was one of the best superhero shows since Justice League Unlimited but Disney cancelled it and replaced it with Avengers Assemble. (To see my thoughts on that mess check out Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H post). My main worry is that the show will be toned down in material, story violence and depth because of the younger audience that watches Disney XD.

But lets talk about what were hoping for. I am really liking the look of the group. They have a Jedi, a Mandalorian, a concept Chewbacca and a sassy droid it has a very firefly like feel to it. I am also praying that the inquisitor is a good villain because lets face it he is just holding that spot for Darth Vader. I also want to see Boba Fett all grown up and in armour and Darth Maul. And if there really feeling gutsy lets have Rex join the Rebellion and Mace Windu come back to life.

Watch it and give me your thought. Is it going to be good is it gonna be bad who do you want to see in it and do you think james earl jones will voice Vader.

Star Wars 7 casting

Alright guys as you know Disney is really pushing forward with the Star Wars 7 movie. And so they have realised the casting. And I have got to say it looks pretty good. There is the original cast from the episodes 4 5 6 plus a some more creditable actors. I haven't seen much of the these people in other movies but they do look like they will be able to handle themselves. The one thing I am really curious is the plot. Will this be like Star Wars legacy comic book or will it be a completely new story. I think that the story will sort of meet somewhere in the middle. I am also wondering who else is going to be in the movie. I am really hoping that Boba Fett is going to be in it. Fett is one of my favourite characters and if he was in it I would finally be able to stop shouting at my friend "NO HE DIDN'T DIE WHEN HE FELL INTO THE SARLACC GOD DAMMIT!!!!!!" 

Also it would be cool to see the old planets. Wouldn't be nice to see hoth and dagobah and all of our favourite planets from the first movies.  

Thats really all I have to say about it. There isn't really any other information so all we have are theories. So Star Wars 7 casting, have you seen it what do you think of it, who do you want to be in it (cough cough Boba Fett) and who do you believe the villian will be. Imagine to your heats desire.

Amazing Spider-man 2 review.

MMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!

Alright in this movie Spider-man faces his greatest challenge..........Until Amazing Spider-man 3. I thought that this movie was great. Andrew Garfield plays a great spider-man. His wise cracking, swinging around do his spider man thing. But lets face it we didn't watch this movie for him it's all about the villains. First villain Rhino. Rhino is not very prominent, he shows up in the first part of the movie and his robbing an armoured car for nuclear something but then spider man stops him. I was really sad because I knew that if he wasn't in the beginning of the movie then he would be in the last bit of the movie, it was certain. Next Green Goblin. In Spider-man 2 Harry is the Goblin not Norman. He was only in the movie for a little bit but he did make a splash. His face was all messed up and he had more of a cackle then a laugh. But I don't really think he was given enough time to really be evil. Finally there is Electro. Electro was awesome. He started off being this really weak nerdy Jamie Foxx then he gets into an accident then he becomes a god. It was really cool to see the progression of Electro. I felt really bad for the guy when he started off so I was just wanted him to become evil so I could enjoy him. His voice was all staticy and it crackled, his skin was all blue and glowing and all of his electricity arcs, is awesome.  

The movie is very well done and it steps it up from the first movie in every way.

The Fault in our Nightwing

Alright guys this post is all about Nightwing.

Dick Grayson. A young boy living with his parents in a travelling circus. All was well until the two parents fell to there death leaving the boy orphaned and alone. Then business man Bruce Wayne took the boy under his wing and reviled his secret. Bruce Wayne was Batman, the legendary dark knight and protector of Gotham. Soon the two became the dynamic duo Batman and Robin. However soon the Grayson could no longer live with being in his mentors shadow and he set out to forge his own path. He became NIGHTWING. 

Lets talk Nightwing. I love this guy. He has a had a really successfully run. He started off as side kick, then team leader and then full fledge Superhero. He has had some of the best character development progress and has even become batman. But I find that DC isn't using that right. I will be separating this post into Three sections

Court of Owls 

How many of you have read Court of Owls? How many of you read Night of the Owls? How many of you loved the Nightwing section in the novel. I know I did. So it turns out that Nightwing was never supposed to become Nightwing. He was supposed to become the next Talon assassin for the Court of Owls and his great grand father William Cobb had planned it all out. So now after the Night of the Owls is done and Gotham is in peace, what was the fate of Nightwing? There was nothing. Nothing happened to Nightwing after the Night. And I really think that DC dropped the ball on that one. Nightwing is more connected to the Court of Owls then even Batman and they could have exploited that. Now I know that Nightwing was in the middle of his own story when Night of the Owls happened but that could have easily been wrapped up. The hunt for Tony Zucco wasn't really my favourite adventure for the former boy wonder. It was cool but it just didn't seem as grand as it could have been. But just imagine this. After the Night of the Owls the Court is slowly slipping into Bludhaven taking control of the City and there only threat is Nightwing. However seeing what Nightwing is capable off the Court decides that they shall turn him into the greatest Talon ever.So they kidnap all the people that are special to Nightwing and force him it a new labyrinth. Nightwings only chose is to team up with his great grandfather: The former Talon WILLIAM COBB. But what else does the Court in store for Nightwing and can he trust Cobb? I would personally like to see that happen, I just might even write it. 

Forever Evil

I have nothing against forever evil I am loving the event but I don't really like what they did with Nightwing. When all the other Heroes are gone and the Justice League is dead we need all of the heroes we can get. But DC decided that they were going to turn Nightwing into a damsel in distress. Within like the first three pages Nightwing is captured and his secret identity is reviled. I would have liked to see the story revolve around Nightwing. Nightwing could have his own little resistance of heroes fighting the Syndicate and now he has to deal with the responsibility of trying to Safeguard the whole world. Now I know if Batman was in this position he would handle it no sweat. But Dick is not Bruce and that would make Dick start to question if he really can really be Batman when Bruce is done or dead. But now he doesn't have the choose and has to make alliances with Villians like Luthor and his Gang.
Might just write that too.

I have already said what I like and don't like about Nightwings new gig in the last post so lets talk about something else. Why Nightwing? Why out of all the characters in the DC universe did they pick Nightwing? I think that this is unnecessary development. Dick Grayson was robin and then he became Nightwing, he is the golden boy. Nightwing doesn't need any more problems in his life. If your going to pick on a robin pick on Tim Drake. Tim Drake hasn't really done anything in the new universe and his is pretty boring. He has a one sided personality and makes it really annoying to read Teen Titans. One of the best things about the Titans is there inner conflict and how they form a family between one another. And lets face it Tim has not done anything in the New 52. This could have been a perfect moment for Tim to finally forge his own path and have some development of his own. Right now is just a Batman want to be that never really got over the fact that he isn't robin any more. I think the name "Red Robin" is so lazy and stinks of desperation.

Alright so Nightwing tell me what you think of my ideas. Tell me if and why you like the New Nightwing and would you read me stories?
