DC Civil War

Ok guys I was inspired by this one guy on comicvine that made me wonder.What if the superhuman registration act happened in the DC Universe? Now this is not making certain DC heroes play the Iron man and Captain America roles, this is how I think the DCU would handle the Civil War.

The war begins when the Teen Titans are fighting a Parademon. When the Titans have the demon cornered it turns out to be charring a bomb. The bomb destroys half of Fawcett City. The Teen Titans survive the blast but are now comatose. Trying to calm the situation Superman makes a statement at the UN but is attacked by Brainiac. Flying Brainiac into space there is an explosion, Superman does not return.

Without a symbol to guide them the worlds heroes fall into anarchy. Lex Luthor and General Lane start turning the Fawcett incident into a propaganda act. Blaming the Teen Titans for not being able to contain the demon, General Lane orders Steve Trevor to start searching for metahumans that are willing to work under the America government' s orders.

Meanwhile Hal Jordan is seen flying above what remains of Fawcett city. Looking down on the survivors and seeing the grief and loss on there faces. As Hal is about to fly off he gets a call from the Justice League. Flying to the watchtower Hal sees the whole league has already assembled minus Superman and Flash.

As the debate goes on many different arguments are raised. Cyborg suggests the league start scanning space for Superman. Aquaman says that the league needs to focus on helping Fawcett city rebuild. Batman argues that they should start looking for other parademons on earth if this is another invasion. The argument ends when the league discovers that Flash has just been attacked by a group of civilians.

With the world continuing to loss faith in it's heroes General Lane starts a new champaign: Control or Contain. Meaning if a metahuman isn't working with the government, they are to be treated like the criminals they fight.

With Control or Contain policy gaining support. More and more metahumans sign on and even full fledge teams like Justice League of  America and the Great Ten. The Justice League realizes that they need to win back the support of the people if they ever hope to keep Lane and Luthor out of power. Wonder Woman wondering where Green Lantern is about to radio him when the league discovers that the mad robot Amazo is running rapid through Metropolis. When the league arrives on the scene they discover that Amazo is already under attack by The Justice League of America and a variety of other metahumans. The League takes the defeated to Amazo to Star Labs for studying.

The next morning General Lane is presenting on television the benefits Control or Contain Policy the league watches unable to stand the lies that come out of his mouth. Then the watch tower goes dead silent, one man stands on the screen with one simple message

"I am Green Lantern and I support this Act"

Following the next few weeks it is pure chaos. The Control or Contain policy has now been renamed the Metahuman Registration Act. Even more Meta's join, along with many other heroes. With many civilians asking "were do the justice league stand on this?" With very little option left the league decides to confront Lantern on his decision. 

"I joined the Act to help it" said Lantern "I joined the act to make a difference and make sure that the metahumans don't become Luthor and Lanes walking weapons". "But I also joined because it is my duty".  "I am the Green Lantern of space sector 2814". "My mission is simple, to defend this planet from those who would do it harm". "At first I thought the League was enough to keep the planet safe". "But then came Fawcett","There I saw a family without a home, a mother without a child and world without hope". Many looked to Superman for hope but now he is gone for who knows how long, and I'm not waiting around for him to come back a save the day, I am taking action NOW!!!"  

Seeing that there is no shaken Lantern from his cause the league is surprised to see that Flash, Firestrom and Cyborg all stay with Lantern. Dividing the league into the act is no longer a race of support. It is a war!!!

All right tell me what you think about the build up I wrote. Also tell me how you think the war would play out and who would be for and against the Act.

Ok so as you know hunger games 2 has come out.

Just for fun here is the summary: President Palpatine and his storm troopers are trying to take down Katniss but she teams up with Aquaman and now their gunning for him.

Man of Steel Review

Ok guys I know that it's a bit late but here it is, the Man of Steel review! I thought the movie was really good at showing who the man is behind superman. They really captured the boy scout image that is superman. I also like how the name superman was given to him instead of Kal choosing it for himself. Henry Cavill was really good at playing Superman. He had the build, he had the voice, he had it all.  Michael Shannon played a spectacular Zod. Zod was evil, he was viscous, and he really showed no mercy. The only grip I would say about the movie would be there was to much destruction. No joke Man of Steel made the battle of New York from the Avengers look like a small skirmish. In summary I really enjoyed the movie I can't wait for the sequel. And I will make a post about the ending some time soon.  Did you enjoy Man of Steel? Tell me what you think.

Thor the Dark World and Ender's Game

Today let us dabble into the wonderful world of movies.

Thor the Dark World

Ok so as you know Thor the dark world is the sequel to Thor and I got to say it was pretty good. We got to see the return of Thor, mister high and mighty Thunder god. And we also got to see the return of Loki. Loki is probably half of the reason I watched this movie because seriously, who doesn't like Loki? (Stop put your hand down you know you loved him). My only complaints about Thor would probably be the fact that the villain didn't bring enough gravity to the table. Sure he looked evil and sounded evil but he didn't carry himself as well as he could.

Ender's Game 

Ender's Game was awesome. The actor who they chose to play Ender was amazing, he just had this Sherlock Holmes like personality. Ever one was really in the movie was perfectly casted and I really enjoyed seeing the return of RRRRRIIIIIICCCCCOOOOOO!!!!!!! But lets face it he's small. Back on topic there is this one scene in the movie were Ender is processing a  feeling deep situation and you can just see the grief over take him. Personally I liked Ender's Game more the Iron Man 3 and that was a good movie.

Earth-3

Hi guys. In my last post I talked about the forever evil event happening at DC. In Earth-3 heroes are villains and villains are heroes. So the Justice League of Earth- 3 are the worlds greatest criminals. Each one has there own twisted origin story so I will be sharing some ideas for what could have happened to some other characters of the DC universe from Earth-3.

Dick Grayson 

In Earth-3 would Owlman really care about a orphaned child? No so in Earth-3 Grayson is taken in by the Earth-3 Court of Owls, the Court of Eagles. This secret society has been the sworn guardian of Gotham City, only thought to be a myth and a nursery rhyme. To defend the city the court has chosen a champion, when one can no longer continue the court selects a new one. Taking Grayson in the court trains the boy to be there greatest champion.....THE TALON. Answering his role Grayson sets out to defend the city of Gotham from those who would do it harm.   

"Praise the Court of Eagles, that watches all the time, defending Gotham one and all in the time of night. They watch you at you health, they protect you in your bed, when you need a savoir to come fourth, they send the Talon to your stead"

Green Lantern 

In Earth-3 the Guardians of the Universe are not the the Guardians of the Universe, they are the Conquerors of the Universe. Seeking to enslave life rather then protect it, they begin there conquest with an army of Black Lanterns at there side. Eventually arriving at the planet Korugar, they slaughtered thousands only to revive them as soldiers. Seeking to create a Blackest Day the Conquerors did not expect one thing. A Korugarian named Sinestro was able to break free of there control by using the forbidden power, FREE WILL. Founding his own corps of Green Powered lanterns Sinestro set out to stop the massacre of the Conquerors along with his ally, William Hand the White Lantern. 

Lex Luthor

Alex Luthor was never on for violence. Luthor tried to be a example for everyone around him, he graduated with top honor's and went on to found his own company Lex Inc. Yet all good things must come to the end. The opening day of Lex tower the city of Metropolis found itself under attack be the Crime Syndicate. As the Syndicate leader Ultraman turned Lex tower to rubble Luthor watched as so many died. Vowing that this will never happen again Luthor made it his mission to stop the Syndicate. Donning a suit of armor Luthor begins his fight for what's left of Truth, Justice and the American way. 

   The Jester

The man who would become the the Jester was once the Red Hood, a title used by many who tried to resist the Syndicates power. Using the title for himself the man set out to avenge the death of wife who was murdered by a Syndicate assassin. On his first night Red Hood took down a shipment of chemicals. This shipment was ordered by Owlman and the Red Hood was brought to his attention. Finding the Red Hood in the chemical plate were the shipment had come from. Nearly beating the vigilante to death, Owlman deiced to finish him by throwing him into a vat of chemicals.This however did not kill the Red Hood, except it turned his skin white, his hair green and his lips red. Seeing of what a joke he had become the Red Hood deiced to become a joke. Calling himself the Jester now he figured that if no one took him seriously then no one would see him coming.

Forever Evil

Ok guys so as you know DC has begun there new major crossover story FOREVER EVIL (duh duh duh).
In this story the justice league is dead and now there are no heroes left to face the evil of the Crime Syndicate (evil doppelgangers form another dimension). They are awesome villains here's the line up.  

Superman= Ultraman 

Batman= Owlman 

Wonder Woman= Superwoman 

Flash= Johnny Quick

Aquaman= Sea King

Fire Storm= Death Storm

Green Lantern= Power Ring

Cyborg= Grid

 
I love the whole team. Except maybe Power Ring for his personality and Johnny Quick for his name. My personal favourite of the group is Owlman. Superman maybe the most powerful man in the world. But Batman is the most dangerous man in the world. And Owlman is Batman that dosen't hold back. Near the end of the event I want to see Owlman take total control of everything.

One thing that is bugging is how there seems to be a stunning lack of heroes in Forever Evil. I know they want to create a sense of hopelessness but it doesn't work. So here is my line up for the replacement justice league. A league to fight the Syndicate.

Superman= Supergirl 

Seeing that this is what Kal-El would do Kara takes it upon herself to continue the fight that her cousin started. 

Batman= Nightwing 

Knowing that this is what Bruce had been training for, a day were Bruce is no longer there. Dick then decides to form a new justice league to prove his worth. 

Wonder Woman= Artemis

Finishing the fight Diana couldn't, Artemis joins out of respect for her sister.  

Flash= Iris West 

Nightwing approaches Iris about joining the league. At first Iris is doubtful but in the end she joins, under the name Impulse.    

Aquaman= Mera

Hearing news that her husband has past Mera sets out to avenge her love. This leads her to join the new justice league as it is the path Arthur would have chosen.

Fire Storm= Captain Atom

Seeing that there are few heroes left the Captain joins the league. Hoping to be accepted by this one. 

Green Lantern= Green Lantern 

How does that work? Simple Simon Baz. Escaping the Syndicate Baz joins Nightwings new justice league.   ( I picked him mostly because of a lack of character development. I would also suggest John Stewart)

Cyborg= Silas Stone

Dreading that his son might be dead, Silas decides to be a better man, the father Victor would have wanted and joins the league as tech support.

Unrelated Heroes

Steel

The world needs a man of steel? John Irons will give them one. He took over last time superman went missing. (Guess who got upgraded!!!)

The Grey Ghost 

The new mysterious member of the league. Appearing out of no were the Grey Ghost has dark secret (heads up he's Alfred)
