Magic the Gathering

Ok guys as you I was obsessed with this card game called chaotic. One of my first ever blog posts was about it. But sadly all great things must come to an end for you see chaotic is dead (sobs). But I have found a new card game to fill the void in my soul in the form of Magic the Gathering. It is really simple. You have your five colours in the form of red, blue, green, black and white. Each colour has there own attributes. Red is rage, black is death, white is justice, green is strength and blue is knowledge. Also there is this thing called land. Land let's draw mana so can summon creatures and cast spells and all that fun stuff. Personally I bought a few cards looked them over and "oh yes this is my game" but who am I kidding, I didn't buy only a few cards :).

The card game is really fun too. Personally I am not used to the card game were you have to shuffle and draw most of your deck. This means that luck is a factor in the game and that is an element I am not used to. In chaotic the only thing you shuffled was your attack deck, everything else you had at your finger tips so the only thing you needed to worry about was timing. That meant that if I had a perfect strategy to counter my opponents one card I could play it at the precise moment and win. In magic I have to hope that I get my counter cards and pray that he doesn't pull his mega move before that.

So magic the gathering is awesome, you should play it, force your friends to play it like I have and enjoy life.

Lego Marvel Superheroes

OK guys as you now Lego has released a new video game with the help of marvel to create

Lego Marvel Superheroes 

Here are my thoughts on it. 

The game is amazing. The controls are really easy to master you have a really fun story and the characters. Oh my gosh the characters don't end. You have your classics, Iron man, Thor, Captain America, Spider-man but you also have less known characters like Daredevil, Black Panther, Rescue, Punisher and Howard the duck there are so many it's insane.  

The story is pretty good too. The game creators really made it revolve around the marvel universe instead of just the Avengers and a few non avengers. Some times you play as the avengers but other times it's a team up between Cap, the Thing, Storm and Spider-man. ]

The game also has some free roaming elements. You have to find gold bricks to unlock bonus levels. You can also find characters and save Stan from problems. 

In summary this game was amazing and awesome and I will be playing it for the next 20 years. But you should go and enjoy for yourself.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Alright guys I know this is old news but I didn't really know what else to blog about. Marvel having made probably the biggest comic book movie ever in the form of the Avengers has decided that they are going to take a bit of a chance with there new blockbuster movie. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!!!!

So I am going to be taking about the movie as well as the team in the comics.

Movie   

So for the Guardians movie I can't help but feel a little scared for this movie. Marvel has an almost flawless string of movies but this one seems a little strange. I'm a little worried about the casting. It really looks like a rag tag kind of team and cast. I have high hopes for this movie although I'm not sure about Chris Pratt as Star Lord. 

Comics 

In the comics the Guardians have never enjoyed much of the spot light but since there making the movie marvel has been pushing people to buy the comics. Currently the looks like this 

I like the looks but I preferred the days when the team had a uniform and Star-Lord had his old uniform 

Now I don't have much opinion on the team I never read much of the comics and I think that's why marvel has decided to make a movie on them. There an open book and Marvel can do what ever they like and hope it works. 

So those are my thoughts tell me what you think about the movie coming up and if have read and enjoyed some of the guardians comics. #Illuminati  

Superman vs ?

Ok guys that just ask you one question has anyone really beat Superman? I mean really beat superman in a fight. When Superman and this guy went toe to toe and Superman was at full strength this villain was able to beat him and be the official winner. The answer my friends is no. No has truly beat Superman. I know that there has been many cases were Superman has come close to losing. But he just never seems to really lose the fight. Now let me given you my opinion on what counts as a loss. A loss is when character has clearly lost to there opponent. When that losing character can't get up and continue the fight.

So in a world where no one has beaten Superman who could beat or even stand of chance of surviving a battle with him. Sentry: the golden guardian of good? Shazam: the worlds mightiest mortal? Who could beat a god among men? Maybe a real god? That's right I am talking about the son of Odin, the prince of Asgard, the GOD of thunder him self Thor.

Now I am not saying that Thor will obviously beat Superman but here are my points on how he could. 

1. One of Superman's many weaknesses is magic and Thor posses Mjolnir one of the most magical and powerful weapons in the marvel universe. 
2. It was never stated that Mjolnir gave Thor any more psychical strength. So all of the blows Thor dishes out are because of his own strength. What makes Mjolnir more devastating is that it is a hammer and designed to deal damage. 
3.  Thor has this thing called the "Warriors Madness" which is said to increase his strength ten fold. 
4. Thor is a warrior he has been around since the time of the Vikings. This means he must know a ton of combat tricks and tactics. 

Those are my thoughts tell me if you think that the winner would be Supes of the blondie.

Ultimate Marvel

Ok guys I know a lot of people don't know about this but it's my blog so I'm gonna talk about it. In Marvel comics there is another universe called the "ULTIMATE UNIVERSE" or earth 1610. Here all of marvel's characters or at least a good percentage have been re imagined with different back stories, different looks and different fates. Personally I really like the Ultimate Universe. I think it's a really good way to make stories more interesting and actually have an impact on the world.

The good thing about the Ultimate Universe is that it's another universe. Here the writers are able to really do what ever they want with the characters. They can make Reed Richards evil, they can have the X-men disband for good and most of all they can touch the untouchables. Now this is a SPOILER but it isn't that much of a big one. In the Ultimate Universe Peter Parker died and a new person, Miles Morales became Spider-man. Now as we know Peter Parker is also dead in the mainstream 616 universe and Doctor Octopus is Spider-man . But people talked way more about Superior Spider-man then Ultimate Spider-man. That is because Ultimate Spider-man is in another universe. Since it's in another universe nobody really can complain. You can't be mad at Marvel for killing Peter Parker in the Ultimate Universe because there still is a Peter Parker as Spider-man in the 616 and therefore they can touch the untouchables. This means that no matter how popular a character is, how many years they've been in comics, they are mortal. I really like the concept because let's face it. Death means nothing in comic's. When I heard that Peter Parker died in the 616 although I was mad I never once thought that Pete wouldn't return. When Batman died in DC  I just laughed because I knew they would have to bring back. 

But in the Ultimate Universe that immortality is gone and anything can happen to anyone. I think that the Ultimate Universe is a really good way to make really interesting stories.

The Return of Ninjago

All right guys as if you haven't heard, you have now. Ninjago has return. Not just in sets but also in the TV series. I am more excited about the return of the TV show because it was a great series. The characters were funny they had pretty good action and it was good story. Just wanted to spread the word.

I'M BACK!!!!!

All right guys after 33 days with out a single blog post I have returned to bring an end to your suffering. I don't have anything special to say for today but tomorrow I will make a post about Marvel's Ultimate Universe and just my thoughts on what Marvel is currently doing. Also I will intro deuce a new segment on the blog called VERSES; you can try and figure out what that is about, but here's a hint
