The End of School

That's right losers it is time. Soon we we will cast off the shackles of or education and enjoy the wonder of summer. No more shall we be forced to slave away at tests and projects. For now we shall taste the glorious freedom and endless sunlight of the forth season.

So what's your plan for summer? Personally I plan to play badminton and magic the gathering. But that's me.

I really sorry I don't have anything for today I know I'm due for a blog post but I just haven't found anything.

I promise I'll have a real post up tomorrow but please be patient.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 review

Ok guys Dreamworks animation is the number one rival to the mighty Disney Empire and they have pulled out all the stops to make this new How to Train your Dragon 2 movie a success. And I would have to say they did a pretty good job. It was a great movie to watch. In the first movie we got so see how the war between Dragons and Vikings came to an end. Now in this new movie we get to how the world reacts to this new ability to train dragons.

The first thing that I really liked was the character changes. It was cool to see how the designers altered the looks of each character so that they looked older but you could still see the faces of the characters that you came to love in the first movie and the TV show. I mean Hiccup pulled a full Neville Longbottom on us.

The story is also great. Dreamworks really stepped up there game with this one. It had more depth and interesting dialogue that I really enjoyed. Really I when Stoick finally got see that his wife was alive and he said "Your as beautiful as the day I lost you" I went "OH SHOOT did Stoick just hijack this movie" I was seriously got super invested in Stoicks story.

However no movie is perfect. But this one is very close. The only flaw in this film would be it's villain. I didn't feel that he was evil enough. It's easy to have a big strong guy with a deep voice and an evil plan but that doesn't always make it so. I feel that if they had given him more of a back story and had him personally cause show one harm then he would have been evil.

Legend of Korra season 3 change trailer

Ok guys as you know there is a new trailer for the Legend of Korra season 3: Change, and it looks awesome. It looks like a ton of things are going down. The villains appearer to a anti-team avatar, with one evil airbender, earthbender, firebender and waterbender. There isn't a whole lot of content considering the fact that there is no audio but still it looks like a really great trailer.

But lets look at what we want to see come out of this new season. Personally I want to see more of Lin Beifong because as we know she is totally the Batman of this universe. Also I want Zuko to a prominent character and I am interested to see how he reacts to Korra. He is the only character from last airbender beside Katara that is still alive. So it would be interesting to see how Zuko treats the avatar who was once the man he respected.

Personally that is all I have to saw. I am really just want to see this season work. I was blow away with the ending of season 2 and all I really want for season 3 is for Korra to find it's own style since it's been hard for them to develop it.

He's AAAAALLLIIIVVVVEEEE

Peter Parker is back baby. In the final issue if Superior Spider-man we see Ock finally give up his goal to be better then Parker and passes the mantle on to the true Superior Spider-man.

I am so very happy that this has happened but really it couldn't end any other way. I mean was marvel really going to keep Peter dead? One of there trade marked characters that helped propel them into the big two of comics. It just kind of made me laugh at the people who thought parker was going to stay dead.

And actually despite the fact that it is over there have been a few things that came out of Superior. "WWWWHHHHHAAAAAATTTT!!!!!! but superior spider man was nothing an abomination that totally ruined Spider-man comics forever" you say but let me ask you this. When amazing Spider-man was at say issue 623 did you really think you needed to read it. No. And that is what superior spider man did, it made spider man comics important again. Now you needed to learn what happened in every issue because you were so worried about how Otto was going to ruin the spider man name.

But now we must ask or selves, what is peter going to do. Now he is the CEO of a company he leads an army of crime fighting soldiers and has lost a great deal of friends. (Also the fact that he started dating Anna Maria). Otto has made spider man more of a batman then anyone else and we are going to see if Peter will let is all fall apart and go back to his old life or will he embrace it and become a better spider-man then either Peter Parker and Otto.

So the Return of Peter Parker how did you react to it? What did you like more Superior or Amazing? and what do you think will become of the web slinger?

Arrow the TV series

Ok guys as you know DC has been trying to cope with the Marvel conquest. And they have found there gold ticket. A while back they made a series called Arrow and it was about the DC character Green Arrow. It's great. First off I love the chose of character, not many people know about the emerald archer and I personally am a fan of Oliver Queen. So lets talk about the series in general. I thought that it had great pacing to it, the series took it's time to develop the characters and there stories. One of my favourite things that they did was the fact that people didn't start calling Oliver Queen Green Arrow. At first they just started calling him "the vigilante",then they started calling him "the hood" and just now in season 2 have they started calling him the "Arrow". Also the evolution of Queens personality is also very well done. He starts off just being the hood so he can have vengeance but he learns that he can help people and be more then a vigilante. He also has a very cool costume, it's just basic green leather with a cloth hood but it still works.

The show also has a very good supporting cast.
John Diggle: John is a really cool character. He starts off just being hired to protect Oliver Queen but after queen shares his secret with Diggle they form a dynamic duo and start to protect Starling city together. Diggle is different then queen because he doesn't have anything to prove so he acts as Oliver''s conscious and try's to steer queen on to a lighter path. But John does have his own vendettas, and the scene when he told queen that he was going to avenge his brother by killing Deadshot was done very well.

Thea Queen: Thea is a character that was created simply so you hate her. She's like Joffrey but less punchable. Thea was actually a cool character because she showed the viewers how people reacted to Oliver being considered dead. She is still pretty annoying but you kind of root for her.

Felicity Smoke: Felicity is a fun character. She is a hacker that works for Queen Consolidated. She just sort of a awkward babbler but she is pretty funny.

But the real Prize winner are the villains. The show has done a great job of bringing in characters from DC and it's been a wild ride. They done Deadshot, count vertigo, Shado, brother blood, Merlyn and Deathstroke, DEATHSTROKE!!!!!

This is really good for DC because Arrow has opened up so many more chances for DC to expand. There doing a flash show, a Gotham show and a show about John Constantine. But they can't become lazy with this. Marvel may not be doing as good a job of producing TV shows but Agents of Shield isn't terrible and I enjoy it.

How DC movies can work

Ok guys as we know DC hasn't done a great job of making their movies. They just aren't making the gambles that they could. There are a ton of DC characters that deserve there own movies but DC just doesn't seem to get. But I am here to tell you guys how possible it is for DC to make at least three movies, lets begin. 

Wonder Woman 

How has DC not made a Wonder Woman movie. It is really easy to do. Wonder woman has a fan base deeply rooted in Greek mythology. You could easy have wonder woman fight Ares or Circe and have the movie filled with Greek monsters and items. It would be God of War meets 300. But the real reason for DC to make this film would be an advantage. Marvel has not had a movie staring a female character. The closet we have had is black widow, so if DC is able to make a movie that shows a strong female superhero then they would beat marvel to the punch. But they need to hurry. Scarlet Witch will be in Age of Ultron and I think marvel is getting around to put She-Hulk and Mrs Marvel in there films. 

Captain Atom

Now I know a lot of people don't know who captain atom is but trust me he's cool. Captain Atom has the power to control radiation, fly, super strength and is silver. A Captain Atom movie would be pretty cool. You would have Nathaniel Adams as a basic soldier but then he gets his power and you would see him start questioning the orders he was given and starting to be more of a hero then a weapon.

Aquaman 

Now I know what your thinking. "Aquaman sucks, he sucks fish pee". But you are wrong, aqua man is a totally awesome character. And you would be surprised how easy it would be to make an Aquaman movie. Aquaman is the king of Atlantis and heir to the Throne of the Seas. So we would see Aquaman go from being a land dweller to learn that Ocean Master has seized the throne and is trying to conquer the surface. Now armed with his trident we would see Aquaman grow into a warrior and a king. It would be Game of Thrones under water. 

John Stewart 

It would also be really easy to make a movie about John Stewart. Not only would it a good chance to have a black superhero but it would also recover the image of the Green Lantern after that nightmare of a movie. You could have John Stewart as an architect after he came out of the war. But then the ring chooses him and he would be swept off to the Oa. The main villian would be the red lantern corps and we would see John try and be a better man then the soldier he once was but he is still fighting a war.
