My Avengers Line up

Ok guys so today I'm just gonna tell you who I want one the avengers. Lets begin

Captain America 

Lets face it you can't really have the avengers with out cap.

Spider-man 

Pete just deserves this. He is a great hero, a great character and a great addition to the team. It makes no sense to way he wouldn't be on the team. Everyone knows he's a hero everyone loves him. He's Spider-man

Captain Marvel 

 

I think that Carol has had this coming. Miss Marvel has always been a great member of the avengers and I think if marvel really wants to push this transition from Miss to Captain she should be on the team and maybe even lead it. 

She-Hulk 

I think that She-Hulk is a great addition to the team. As a power house and as a lawyer. Because lets face it, With Civil War...........people getting sued. 

Blue Marvel 

How has he not been an avenger? He is a freak of a power house he has a golden moral compass and he is humble. To me he would add a great deal of realism to the avengers with the struggle for diversity and he would be a great mentor to Captain America/Falcon. 

Daredevil 

 

Because he's awesome.

Thor is not gone

Ok guys so if you haven't heard Thor is going to be replaced with this chick.  And you can see what I think about it in my post Marvels New Changes.

And at first I wasn't in much support of this. I said that this was just going to be another chapter in the story of Thor and this woman wouldn't really matter.  But then I saw this picture. 

IT'S THOR AND HIS AWESOME!!!!! And now a little thought has popped into my head. I do believe that only Mjolnir will go to the new Thor lady and Thor himself will still be in the comics. That would be great! And I would really enjoy it. Because firstly it would allow us to have this new Thor Chick and Thor duke it out which I and so hoping for. And it would help to separate Thor from Mjolnir. I have always said that Thor is superstrong with out the hammer but comics haven't done a great job of separating what Thor can do by himself and what Mjolnir lets him do. Stan Lee created him to be Marvels strongest character but that has been a title that he has had to fight for. He is supposed to be stronger then the hulk BY HIMSELF and the hammer is just supposed to put him over the top. Alot of Thors writers made Thor dependent on Mjolnir, making it look like he is useless with out it. But now he is packing an axe and awesome metal arm. Sure he won't be able to fly and summon lightning but we will get to see his raw strength. This is gonna show us what Thor is really made of and I am pumped.  

Plus this will give more gravity to the new woman Thor because she is no simply replacing Thor, she is simply taking Mjolnir. 

So Thor with out the Hammer. Do you love it do you hate it. Do you want to see a fight between the two. Tell me what you think.

Legend of Korra Season 3 review

Hi guys sorry that I haven't posted anything new in a while but I've been up at my families Cottage and it doesn't have Wifi. But I'm back for one more post before I had back into the wilderness. So lets do this.

So as you all know, I love the Avatar Series. Last Airbender was one of my favourite shows growing up and I have always caught up on new episodes of Legend of Korra. And this is no exception. Legend of Korra season 3 was very well done. It had a great characters, a excellent plot and an interesting plot. But it was not flawless. Now from now this is a SPOILER POST so you have been warned.

The season was very well done when it came to plot. Korra had to fight a rouge version of the White Lotus called the Red Lotus and they where made up of these really powerful benders. There was a lava bender, a crazy waterbender lady with no arms, an evil Airbender and THE DAUGHTER OF FREAKING COMBUSTION MAN!!!!!! And they were awesome. They were evil yet they seemed relate able. The only problem is that we never learned how they came together or what there crimes are. It would have been nice to have an episode where we learned there past and when the decided to join up. There was this main bad guy Zahear I think he was called. And he became an airbender when a ton of other people became airbenders. But that got me wondering "was he a different bender before? Did aang take away his bending? why did he know so much about Airbender culture?".

Now it wasn't just the villains that had some problems. The heroes also had some flaws. As we all know Lin Beifong is the Batman of Republic City but in this she was made out to be a total jerk. And I feel like that just stomped on all of the character development she had in season 1. Also Bolin. Now I love Bolin, his great, his funny, his smart and he reminds me of Sokka. But the problem with Bolin is that he had never really been given a moment to step up to the plate like Sokka did. Sokka would joke around and have a gag but when stuff got real he would bust out the sword and be awesome. Bolin just seems to joke around and that's it.

But aside from those minor complaints I loved this season. It had a great plot and it had great twists and a great ending. It was defiantly better then season 2 and I can't wait for season 4.

Death of Wolverine

Firstly I would like to apologies for not posting as much as I did. I have summer stuff to do and I don't always bring my laptop with me as very few of the places I go to have Wi-Fi so I am sorry. But let us not dwell of the past and focus on this somewhat older news.

So with the slew of new changes marvel is pumping out they also decided to play around with Wolverine. It was announced that Wolverine had 3 MONTHS TO DIE!!!!! (duh duh duh)

 

Personally I didn't pay this much attention. I mean it said that Wolvey had 3 months to die. But now his months are up and Wolverine is hitting the hay. I am not to fazed by this. Important comic book characters die all the time.

Superman died fighting doomsday but he came back.
Captain America died in Civil War and came back as Captain Steve Rogers.
Batman was killed by Darkseid and came back after a year.
Spider-man was killed during Superior Spider-man and you guessed it came right back.

They come back because they need to. Because people buy comics so they can read more about there favourite characters.

So as we know Comic book death means nothing in the 616 universe. And I have now doubt that Wolverine will "claw" is way out of death soon. (Oh man I'm sorry for that claw pun). But I want to see what they do with this death. How much of the Marvel Universe will be hurt because of this. Wolverine has probably been on every marvel team there is. So I what to see who's going to show up at the funeral. I know will see the Avengers and X-men but what about Cyclops? Will Scott show up to mourn his old friend and partner? And how will people mourn him. I am not going to lie I do want to see Logan get a James Howlett School for Higher Learning out of this.

I also want to see how long he is going to be dead. Will the outrage and demands of fans resurrect him within the year? Or are the writers at Marvel going to savoir their time and see how long they can hold out.

But there is one thing that needs to happen. This death needs to matter! Now with the drama and sophistication of  modern comics death is starting to become rather meaningless. So there needs to be real change that comes out of this. And it can't be glossed over, this needs to stay with Wolverine for a long time. Because if they don't it's just going to be dumb and forgettable and it'll make you wonder why people decided to even kill him off in the first place.

Deadpool Footage

So I'm not sure if you've seen this, BUT I HAVE!!!!!!!

So this footage was leaked online and it was awesome. You have a CGI Deadpool being voiced by Ryan Reynolds and it was totally Deadpool. He was wish cracking, breaking the forth wall while he was decapitating people while a car is spinning through the streets. And really all this footage did was remind people how awesome a Deadpool movie would be and how stupid movie company's are for not making it.

I mean Deadpool is the best he just says what he wants and people have to deal with it, because you cannot kill this guy. This movie would be pretty great. It would have a beloved comic book character, making insanely funny jokes and talking to the audience with all of the the insane action of a action movie.

Plus let's face it Ryan needs this. Green Lantern then R.I.P.D, he needs this.

Batman v Superman Costumes

Ok so after a great deal of time DC has finally released all of the images for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Lets take a peak.

Superman

  

So I have said this more then once. Batman v Superman has taken a bit more then a hint from the Dark Knight Returns and this is no exception. The overall costume has not changed but you can see that Clark is keeping his hair in check to have more of that boy scout look. 

Wonder Woman 

  

I was a little disappointed in this costume. With Wonder Woman you there are to different ways she can turn out. A Warrior or a Model. And it looks like the costume is leaning more toward the model version. I was hoping for a little more armour for this, maybe a gauntlet or arm brace. But I do like how they are keeping true to the wonder woman costume design. And I don't like lack of shield and I think the sword looks rather dumb. It looks like a plaything, they should have given her a Greek short sword. 

Batman 

He's BATMAN!!!!!!!!

This is an excellent costume from the Dark Knight Returns symbol to the small ear design on the cowl. The cape had enough drop to it to cover batman but it's not frilly enough to be like Superman's cape. Love the costume but still worried about Ben's acting chops for the role. But he looks the part.

Marvels New Changes

So as we all know comics need to keep things interesting and Marvel has turned a great many heads with these 3 new announcements let us complain.

 Sam Wilson is Captain America

In the latest issue of Captain America Steve Rogers has been drained of his super soldier serum and is small once more. So in order for the world to still have hope he paces the mantle of Captain America along to his trusted friend Sam Wilson. Personally I like this change, adds more to Sam Wilson's character and it would be cool to see him meet the demands of being Captain America. Also think this is good because Sam has been spending to much time in the "sidekick" role and being made Captain America would allow him to stand alone, by himself and man up. But I  am said to say that this won't last. I think I know how his run a Cap is going to go. 

1. He'll get the shield 
2. Question himself
3. The public won't like him 
4. Lose his first fight with the villain 
5. Get a pep talk from skinny Steve Rogers
6. Defeat the villain 

And then Steve will take up the mantle of Cap once more in a year or two. However I am hoping for this and I hope Wilson is a good Cap.

Thor is a Woman 

   

Now I don't like this. There is nothing wrong with Thor being a woman but I think there doing this for the wrong reasons. Obliviously marvel is doing this to try and create a strong Female leading character with the power to back it up. But giving Mjolnir to a random woman I am against. I know she is going to be worthy of wielding it but it's unnecessary. Marvel all ready has a slew of strong female characters that could easily promote gender equality. Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Maria Hill they would all do but they shoehorn a female Thor in. And the worst part about this is the fact that it won't matter, the original Thor will just come back and make all of this obsolete. This female Thor won't have her own legacy it will just be defined and then become part of the real Thor's. Marvel should focus on cementing the changes that they have already made instead of just making new ones. I really think they need to work harder on making sure that Miss Marvel becomes Captain Marvel because when ever I think of her I think of her as Miss Marvel. And I also hate how writers just reuse the same old Thor stories over and over.

Superior Iron Man

  

Oh man this I am enjoying. The last time we saw a Super hero barring the title Superior was when Otto had taken over Spider-Man's body. And I that alot of people hated it because is tarnished good ol spidy. But lets look at what it also did. It made Spider-man comics popular again. Unless your a die hard Spider-man fan you would never keep buying all of the Amazing spider man issues "I mean its spider man nothing bad's gonna happen to him" you said. But then he was dead so now we needed to know everything Otto was up to and hope beyond hope that he would be the Spider-man we wanted. Despite the fact he wasn't. And I am cautiously exited about how they are going to put that spin on Iron man. But I my not like it and that could be the point. 

So Marvel's big changes did you like them all, hate them all, do you even care? Tell me what you think. And how would you do character change.
