The Superior spider man

Ok in the latest comics Peter Parker has lost control of his body to doc ock and is now trapped in his own subconscious. and to make matters worse doc ock mind wiped peter parker from his mind and now peter is "gone". But I have a theory. If doc ock got ride of every bit of peter in his mind how does doc ock still remember peter. I think that the memory of peter in doc ock will grow until peter parker gets enough strength to regain control of his body. What do you think.
