Fate of Dick Grayson

Ok guys if you haven't heard DC has just announced the fate of Dick Grayson aka Nightwing. Since the creators at DC didn't cash in on the fortune of the Court of Owls aspect of Nightwing, they decided that he should become a damsel in distress for Forever Evil. They had him captured and placed in something called "the Murder Machine". Now it is known that Nightwing shall fake his death and become a spy.

Now lets talk about this. I'll start with how DC has been treating in Forever Evil. I personally didn't like how at the start of the event Nightwing was instantly taken off the table. Nightwing had a lot of potential to be a major player in this event. Now I had two separate post about Nightwing and how he should have formed his own reserve justice league. Like wouldn't like be cool if DC have the fate of the universe rest on Nightwing. He is the next Batman and it would be awesome to see the comics address that. If the event focused around Nightwing and the heroes that aren't the "big guns". They would be fighting a losing battle and soon they would have to make alliances such as Lex Luthor and his gang. I will make a another post about that soon.

Now let's talk about this sent in stone fate. I like the concept of  having Dick Grayson as a spy because it would be cool to see Dick Grayson do the darker things that you never expected he would. Also if he is working for the Government then it would be cool to see him team up Steve Trevors. But I just wish that DC  wasn't always forcing it's character to go back on what they symbolise. Nightwing was spared from the darkness that consumed Bruce Wayne (Though Awesome) and now he is going to be running around shooting people in the face. (We already have Jason Todd doing that)
